THIRTY SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (YEAR
B)
Mc 12, 41-44
Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu phán cùng dân chúng
trong khi giảng dạy rằng: "Các ngươi hãy
coi chừng bọn luật sĩ. Họ thích đi lại
trong bộ áo thụng, ưa được bái chào
ngoài công trường, chiếm những ghế nhất
trong hội đường và trong đám tiệc. Họ
giả bộ đọc những kinh dài để nuốt hết
tài sản của các bà goá: Họ sẽ bị kết án
nghiêm ngặt hơn".

In the course of
his teaching Jesus said to the crowds,
"Beware of the scribes, who like to go
around in long robes
and accept greetings in the
marketplaces, seats of honor in
synagogues, and places of honor at
banquets. They devour the houses of
widows and, as a pretext recite lengthy
prayers. They will receive a very severe
condemnation."

Er lehrte sie und sagte: Nehmt euch in
Acht vor den Schriftgelehrten! Sie gehen
gern in langen Gewändern umher, lieben
es, wenn man sie auf den Straßen und
Plätzen grüßt, und sie wollen in
der Synagoge die vordersten Sitze und
bei jedem Festmahl die Ehrenplätze
haben. Sie bringen die Witwen um ihre
Häuser und verrichten in ihrer
Scheinheiligkeit lange Gebete. Aber um
so härter wird das Urteil sein, das sie
erwartet.
Chúa Giêsu ngồi đối diện với hòm tiền,
quan sát dân chúng bỏ tiền vào hòm, và
có lắm người giàu bỏ nhiều tiền. Chợt có
một bà goá nghèo đến bỏ hai đồng tiền là
một phần tư xu.

He sat down
opposite the treasury and observed how
the crowd put money into the treasury.
Many rich people put in large sums. A
poor widow also came and put in two
small coins worth a few cents.

Als Jesus einmal dem Opferkasten
gegenübersaß, sah er zu, wie die Leute
Geld in den Kasten warfen. Viele Reiche
kamen und gaben viel. Da kam auch
eine arme Witwe und warf zwei kleine
Münzen hinein.
Người liền gọi các môn đệ và bảo: "Thầy
nói thật với các con: Trong những người
đã bỏ tiền vào hòm, bà goá nghèo này đã
bỏ nhiều hơn hết. Vì tất cả những người
kia bỏ của mình dư thừa, còn bà này đang
túng thiếu, đã bỏ tất cả những gì mình
có để nuôi sống mình".

Calling his
disciples to himself, he said to them,
"Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put
in more than all the other contributors
to the treasury. For they have all
contributed from their surplus wealth,
but she, from her poverty, has
contributed all she had, her whole
livelihood."

Er rief seine Jünger zu sich und sagte:
Amen, ich sage euch: Diese arme Witwe
hat mehr in den Opferkasten
hineingeworfen als alle andern.
Denn sie alle haben nur etwas von ihrem
Überfluss hergegeben; diese Frau aber,
die kaum das Nötigste zum Leben hat, sie
hat alles gegeben, was sie besaß, ihren
ganzen Lebensunterhalt.
