Ngài cúi xuống chẳng phải để kênh kiệu

Nhưng cúi xuống khiêm hạ đến tận cùng.

Ngài cúi xuống chẳng để được rửa chân

Nhưng cúi xuống rửa chân cho môn đệ.

Ngài cúi xuống chẳng để được phục vụ

Nhưng cúi xuống để phục vụ muôn người.

Ngài cúi xuống chẳng để được tôn vinh

Nhưng cúi xuống hiến mình làm của lễ.

Ngài cúi xuống chẳng phải để bất tuân

Nhưng cúi xuống vâng phục đến trọn hảo.

Ngài cúi xuống, dẫu rằng Con Thiên Chúa

Nhưng cúi xuống, chịu chết treo Thập hình….

The Lord Bent Down

The Lord bent down not to be conceded,

But so as to lift us up high.

The Lord bent down not to be mocked,

But so as to teach us to be compassionate.

The Lord bent down not to be arrogant

But so as to be humble till the end.

The Lord bent down not to be feet-washed,

But so as to wash feet of his own disciples.

The Lord bent down not to be served,

But so as to serve people without reserve.

The Lord bent down not to be appraised

But so as to offer himself as the oblation.

The Lord bent down not to be disobedient

But so as to be completely obedient.

The Lord bent down despite being the Son of God

Yet to suffer and die on the Cross.

Le Seigneur s'est penché (ou baissé)

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour concéder,

Mais pour nous élever haut.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour être raillé,

Mais pour nous apprendre à être compatissants.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour être arrogant

Mais pour être humble jusqu'au bout.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour se laver les pieds,

Mais pour laver les pieds de ses propres disciples.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour être servi,

Mais pour servir les gens sans réserve.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour être apprécié

Mais pour s'offrir en oblation.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" non pas pour désobéir

Mais pour être complètement obéissant.

"Le Seigneur s'est penché" bien que Fils de Dieu

Pour souffrir et mourir sur la Croix.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere compiaciuto,

Ma per innalzarci verso l’alto.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere deriso,

Ma per insegnarci ad essere compassionevoli.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere arrogante,

Ma per essere umile fino alla fine.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per farsi lavare i piedi,

Ma per lavare i piedi dei suoi stessi discepoli.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere servito,

Ma per servire le persone senza riserve.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere apprezzato,

Ma per offrire se stesso come oblazione.

"Il Signore si chinò" non per essere disobbediente,

Ma per essere completamente obbediente.

"Il Signore si chinò" pur essendo il Figlio di Dio,

Per soffrire e morire sulla Croce.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no para ser concedido,

sino para elevarnos alto.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no para recibir burlas,

sino para enseñarnos a tener compasión.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no por ser arrogante,

sino para ser humilde hasta el final.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no para que le lavaran los pies,

sino para lavar los pies de sus discípulos.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no para ser servido,

sino para servir a la gente sin reserva.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no para ser apreciado,

sino para ser Él mismo la oblación.

“El Señor se inclinó”, no por ser desobediente,

Sino para ser completamente obediente.

“El Señor se inclinó”, a pesar de ser el Hijo De Dios,

para aún así sufrir y morir en la Cruz.

主は身を屈(かが)めた

「主は身を屈めた 」負けを認めるためでなく、

私たちを高く上げるために。

「主は身を屈めた 」嘲笑されるためではなく、

私たちに慈愛を教えるために。

「主は身を屈めた 」傲慢になるためではなく、

最後まで謙虚であるために。

「主は身を屈めた 」足を洗われるためではなく、

ご自分の弟子たちの足を洗うために。

「主は身を屈めた 」仕えられるためではなく、

ためらわず人々に仕えるために。

「主は身を屈めた」認められるためではなく、

自らを捧げ物として捧げるために。

「主は身を屈めた 」不服従のためではなく、

完全に従順であるために。

「主は身を屈めた」神の子であるにもかかわらず、

十字架で苦しみ、死ぬために。
